We design Building Services systems to be pragmatic solutions that suit the local environment, are easy to install and cost effective to maintain. Equipment is selected regionally and responds to the level of resilience required for a long serviceable life.

We use modern engineering tools such IES VE to accurately simulate the built environment and stress test options for cost or space optimisation. Of late we have used Claude as our AI tool of choice to modernise our business and make all of our work processes as efficient as possible.

Construction Admin
Our team of Engineers have worked all over the world and have delivered a diverse portfolio of work under a myriad of different contract laws and construction methodologies. We are ideally suited to provide due diligence reporting and onsite construction administration for all Engineering disciplines.

GreenLeaf Engineers was created to service a burgeoning need for specialist engineering skills that suited an increasing demand in international work, largely in the public sector but now in the multi-level residential, leisure, retail and commercial sectors too. Over the last 18 years, GreenLeaf Engineers has worked all over the world for prestigious governments, architects and developers.
We employ between 5 and 20 specialist engineers at any one time on a renewable contract basis that lasts 2 years. Engineers work remotely and communicate with each other and clients through modern web based platforms. They leverage their in-country or regional experience to deliver the best design strategies that relate to resilience, availability of materials and equipment, cost and procurement advice and using our international connections to leverage a "think globally act locally' work flow.

For nearly 20 years this man made island off the coast of Samoa lay waiting for Lamana Developments and Thompson Adsett Architects to create a very special destination. GLS integrated a recycled water policy, UPS and off grid generator solutions whilst minimising electrical energy through passive cooling solutions.
This award-winning project utilises a mixed mode strategy reducing the running costs by one third.

$650m historic refurbishment of one of the United Nations most proclaimed heritage buildings. Working for Conrad Gargett we have designed a worlds first passive cooling system.
This was a 4 year project which began with being part of a DFAT team to scout a suitable site in Addis Ababa. GLS designed, documented and administered a multidiscipline engineering team on behalf of James Cubitt and DFAT (OPO).
Designed in Brisbane in conjunction with an architect based in Panama, delivered in Luanda, Angola
